Longer Life For Your Central Heating

We are now installing MagnaClean filters on all of our new central heating installations in conjuction with a seperate CalMag magnetic limescale filter.

We believe a MagnaClean Filter is essential to the longevity of your heating system by eliminating the build up of sludge deposits within your boiler and heating circuits. In addition, because of the hardness of the water locally, we install limescale filters as a matter of course. In hard water areas most maufacturers will demand a limescale filter to keep your warranty valid.

Modern central heating systems with high efficiency boilers are clean, efficient and economical, but ONLY if operating at peak performance.  The natural process of black iron oxide build–up and limescale soon impairs performance and eventually clogs the boiler and radiators.

The majority of systems will suffer from black iron oxide and limescale contamination. Thick sludge deposits are the result of corrosion taking place within radiators and other metallic components.  The oxide particles range from very large to sub-micron with the latter leeching into the system water continuously during use.
